The Russian-Chinese Conference on Probability Theory continues the tradition of scientific collaboration between probabilists of Russia and China, exemplified by successful meetings including the Joint China-Russia Symposium on Probability Theory in Saint-Petersburg (2013), the Joint China-France-Russia Symposium on Probability Theory in Beijing (2017), and the China-Russia Symposium on Probability Theory in Beijing (2023). The conference brings together leading experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Steklov Mathematical Institute, St. Petersburg State University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as professors from top Chinese universities. The program will cover various topics in probability theory and random processes, including branching processes, limit theorems, random walks, stochastic analysis, interacting particle systems, and applications in economics, finance, and mathematical physics.
The conference is financially supported by a grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for the establishment and development of the Leonhard Euler International Mathematical Institute in Saint Petersburg, agreements 075–15–2025–343, 075–15–2025–344.
