ICM 2022 Satellite
"Random Walks, Branching, and Random Geometry"

July 15 - 22, 2022

The workshop focuses on the analysis of models coming from an interplay between randomness and geometry, as for instance branching Brownian motion, branching random walks, random point processes, random polytopes, zeros of random polynomials, random networks and geometric random graphs. It will bring together experts from these areas with younger participants, for learning and an exchange of new ideas and methods.

The workshop "Random Walks, Branching, and Random Geometry" is an official International Congress of Mathematicians 2022 (ICM 2022) Satellite conference. The ICM is the most significant meeting in pure and applied mathematics worldwide, and one of the oldest scientific congresses. ICMs are organized every four years by the International Mathematical Union in partnership with the Local Organizing Committee from the host country. The ICM 2022 will be held in St Petersburg, Russia, 6 - 14 July 2022.
