Description

There are many ways of thinking about unimodular rows (and their orbits). In particular, tools from Commutative algebra, A^1 homotopy theory, and Euler Class groups have been successful. In this talk, we will give another perspective by identifying orbits of unimodular rows as Spin-orbits on the unit sphere. Hopefully this (elementary but nevertheless broad) approach via quadratic forms will complement current methods and lead to new connections.
